We are now divided into ten groups of twenty to go to one location in Japan. Our group is headed to Joyo outside Kyoto. The town is only thirty years old. (Yes, you read correctly, thirty years.) It is 2 1/2 hours by bullet train from Toyko. Four stops. We we only have one minute to get all our suitcases of the train when we stop. It is a thirty-minute ride by bus to our host city. Then drop your bags and off to the Geisha district for dinner and show. The Gion area of Kyoto is an extremely old area. Geishas are seen coming and going to their respective tea houses. Check out the video of the show. See if you can see anyone you know.
