Trying out new programs

I just spent the weekend working on the new programs I learned at the conference in Springfield.

Here are my top four:

Jingproject What an incredible program. You can record and video your computer and make tutorials. I can’t want to get started on this. I have several students that can make tutorials for the classroom.

Moodle I am still working on, it requires a server. I will be setting up my mac mini in the basement as my server soon. I can have all my lesssons online.

pbwiki I have used this before, but never really successful. This time I got it right. It will be used for my presentations. Here is my musictechie.pbwiki.org

animoto The end of slide shows. You can make them online and it follows the thirty-second rule (the free version)

Yes, I was up to 1am trying out these programs. I have a second tier that I am also working on, but these four I couldn’t wait to get started on.
