Today, my elective (google) class presented their files in Google Sketchup. They designed their “kingdoms.” What wonderful kingdoms they were, with cameras, cars, golf courses, pool, armies, airplanes, on a the ocean, and some in the mountains. The creativity was incredible. I will post their files as soon as all of them are finished on www.carolbroos.com > classes > Google class. Some of the students used other products that google offers: google docs and igoogle. They will present on those internet activities on Wednesday. This has been an experimental class, they were allowed to check their email, multi-task and have an “open” classroom of sharing and collaboration. It consisted of seventh and eighth grade students – thirteen boys and one girl. The class ends Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
