I just finished five shows with five different casts consisting of 149 middle school students. Many fellow educators are amazed that I have that many shows with that many students. Many times they say “You need to cut, you can’t have that many students on stage, it’s crazy.” Well, here is my story. I LOVE

Musicians need to take charge of music composition


I love the interaction I have on the internet. But, it is becoming more apparent that the people who study music (musicians) are not creating music on really important sites. One of my biggest “pet peeves” is a non-musician (a person who just uses technology to compose) is creating music or worse yet, teaching composition.
